2 Hour vacation - Boulder

The other day I was feeling a bit claustrophbic and decided that it was about time for another 2 hour vacation. Every so often I want to get away to somewhere close by but still needing to feel like a vacation. So we decided to head up to Boulder. There is a cute little waterfall close off the highway that we have visited once and I wanted to go see it again. As we headed up there we realized that the path to it was closed so we decided to just take a drive anyway. Sometimes I love the idea of just driving. We ended up on top of this hill overlooking the city of Boulder. It was so pretty and a perfect little break from life. I barely take out my large camera anymore and it was fun to have a reason to break it out. I love all the photos we got and I hope we will get to see the falls this spring when they open again. Or as Atlee calls them watermountains. He is so funny. Love that kid.

This was on the way up! The sun was setting and it was so pretty.

Atlee kept asking me to take his picture and then he asked me
to take a photo of his new monster truck.

My adorable little man! He is so photogenic.

I loved how these turned out! Love my camera.
Such handsome men! I am blessed.

A couple videos!

I was going to post a video of Atlee riding his bike
but that will have to come later when I find it.
Here are a couple other ones instead.

This is from a trip we took to Las Vegas and got to see this incredible water fountain.

The second is from when we took Atlee sledding the other day. We got this huge snowstorm and had the perfect day for sledding the next day. He LOVED it.

One from Wisconsin

We just returned from a week long trip to Wisconsin to visit my family. While we were there I took way to many photos. Which is typical for me :) As I was going through a bunch of them I found one that stuck out to me and I fell in love with. So here it is in Black and White and Color.

Happy Monday!

Seventh Anniversary!

We had a fun time in Santa Fe. We went hiking, watched movies, ate yummy food, listened to live music, took lots of photos and ate froyo. It was a good time celebrating our seventh anniversay.

Mothers Day

Not to much to say about mothers day. We did a little photo shoot with Atlee and I down on the path by our house and just hung out most of the day. It was a good day.
